Financial support for electric facilities and installation of the light system for the 3rd floor of Ngu Phung Pavilion (Ngo Mon, Hue Imperial City-the World Heritage)
Update: 28/03/2015 03:32:22
In the afternoon of March 27, 2015, permitted by Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee, Hue Monuments Conservation Centre (the Centre in brief) carries out the financial support agreement signing with Lotteria Vietnam (Korea) for the project of "Electric facilities and installation of the light system for the 3rd floor of Ngu Phung Pavilion (Ngo Mon, Hue Imperial City-the World Heritage)" with the total investment of 100.000 USD (equal to 2.146.000.000VND) under the witness of Associate Prof. Nguyen Dung-the Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Committee, the representatives of different departments of the province, and the journalists around the province.

Ngo Mon is the biggest main gate among the four of Hue Imperial City that faces the South. Ngo Mon is architecturally special. It was constructed in 1833, under Minh Mang emperor's reign, a relic of numerous cultural and historical values in the Complex of Hue Monuments-the World Cultural Heritage. Previously, Ngo Mon used to be equiped with the lighting system, the aesthetic elements of which were not effective enough to fully reveal the special architectural values of the construction. Thus, this project will help improve the former shortcomings so that the beauty of the construction could be thoroughly seen, and that the electrical power could be considerably saved.

The project will be executed by Phu Thanh JSC- Hanoi, which is the leading company in the installation of LED technology in Vietnam. The project is expected to be started after the financial support agreement signing, and will have finished by the end of April 2015 on the occasion of 40th anniversary of Southern Vietnam liberty. This is the first project of the long-term cooperation between Hue Monuments Conservation Centre and Lotteria Vietnam. It is hoped that it will be contributive to the friendliness, cultural exchange and cooperation between Thua Thien Hue province and Korea alike, and those between Hue Monuments Conservation Centre and Lotteria Vietnam alone.
