The Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni visited Hue Imperial City in his royal trip into Vietnam

Invited by the General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Truong Tan Sang, His Majesty Mr. Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, started his royal visit to Vietnam (to Hue city and Dalat city) from October 19 to 22, 2015.

In the afternoon of October 19, President Truong Tan Sang did have a friendly conversation with the King in the office of of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee. The President did emphasize the friendliness and the cooperation for the sustainable development of the two countries for the best of the region and the world.

King Norodom Sihamoni expressed his happiness and gratitude to the warm welcome of Vietnamese government and people to him. During his time in Vietnam, he would visit some cultural and historical sites of Hue City and Da Lat City.

In the afternoon of the same day, the King paid a visit to Hue Imperial City. He showed his great concern and deep impression to the cultural heritages of Hue. The King's envoy was accompanied by several Vietnamese governmental as well as local high rankers such as the Chairman of the Office of the President, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia, the Vice-Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Province (Mr. Nguyen Dung), the Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Centre (Dr. Phan Thanh Hai), and the representatives of other provincial departments.
